China–Korea Friendship Tea Gathering

Tea Unites Hearts · Sharing Friendship in Every Cup
On October 24, 2025, the New Zealand Tea Institute warmly hosted the China–Korea Friendship Tea Gathering at its Epsom venue in Auckland. Under the theme “Tea Unites Hearts · Sharing Friendship in Every Cup".

The event brought together guests from both China and Korea to celebrate the bond of friendship through the shared language of tea. Amid a calm and graceful atmosphere, tea became a bridge of understanding — connecting cultures, traditions, and hearts through each carefully prepared cup.

Featured Teas
Guests were invited to experience a curated selection of three teas, each representing a unique cultural sentiment:1. Longjing Tea (West Lake Dragon Well): Elegant and refreshing, symbolizing the grace of Eastern tradition.2. Pingyang Yellow Tea: Smooth and mellow, reflecting gentle and enduring friendship.3. Rose & Goji Wellness Tea: A fragrant blend of flowers and fruit, sharing wellness and harmony.
Every brew carried not only its aroma and flavour, but also the spirit of connection and goodwill between two nations.
Essence of the Gathering
The event embodied the philosophy that a cup of tea transcends distance. Through the art of tea, guests found stillness, joy, and mutual respect. Conversations flowed as naturally as the tea itself — calm yet full of warmth. This gathering was more than a cultural exchange; it was a celebration of harmony and friendship, continuing the story of connection between China and Korea.
