Heritage · The Fragrance of Tea Lives On
Where the essence of tea carries the warmth of generations.
In August 2025, the New Zealand Tea Academy hosted a cultural tea gathering in Christchurch under the theme “Heritage · The Fragrance of Tea Lives On.”
The event brought together tea enthusiasts and cultural friends to honour the timeless art of tea and its transmission across generations. Through graceful ceremonies and thoughtful exchanges, guests experienced how the fragrance of tea continues to connect hearts, preserve tradition, and inspire harmony in the modern world.

The Meaning of Heritage
Beyond a simple tasting experience, this gathering served as a reflection on cultural inheritance — how the art of tea carries wisdom, grace, and gratitude through time. Every gesture within the ceremony symbolized a bridge between the past and present, reminding us that true heritage lives not only in traditions, but in the hearts that keep them alive.
As fragrance lingers and memories flow, the spirit of tea continues to connect generations, sharing peace and warmth with all who gather around the teacup.
